You do this by supplying energy and nutrients to the bones with calcium and vitamin D. Adult calcium requirement is 1000 mg / day (up to age 50 years), and 1200 mg / day (more than 51 years).</p>
<p>Vitamin D is also important, so the body can absorb calcium and foods that are taken. Adult requirement of vitamin D is 400-800 IU / day or can be obtained from the 10 minutes of sun tan.</p>
