After Caesar, Women Can Still Have Normal Delivery
During this prevailing myth remains forever once a Caesarean section. In fact, after undergoing caesarean section at first birth, a mother could give birth to normal in the next birth. Therefore, the American College of obstetricians and Gynecologist (21 / 7) issued a new recommendation that every mother who had a cesarean birth, even twice in the operation, still permitted to conduct normal deliveries in the next birth or also known as VBAC, vaginal birth after Caesar operation.
Approximately 15 years ago, three of the 10 mothers who gave birth by caesarean section at first birth will give birth spontaneously in the next birth. But now from 10 women who perform a cesarean, fewer women want to give birth normally thereafter.
This latest guidance states VBAC is safe and can be an option for pregnant women, including those who are pregnant with twins or who have given birth by Caesarean. The doctors also advised to provide a neutral view on which option will be taken of his patients. Read the rest of this entry »
